Phillip Bryant | President & CEO

Phillip Bryant brings more than 20 years of non-profit experience to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Georgia. Prior to joining the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Georgia, Phillip served as the Southeast Regional Director of Development & Field Operations with the American Kidney Fund in Atlanta, Georgia.  In addition, Phillip has also held several leadership positions with the YMCA, including CEO, District Vice President and Executive Director, and with the Boy Scouts of America as District Director and Resident Camp Director.

Phillip’s educational background includes undergraduate coursework at Florida State University and Georgia Southwestern State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education.

In his spare time, Phillip enjoys spending time with family, fishing, golfing and traveling.   


Jacquelyn Webb-Simmons | Administrative Service Director & Executive Assistant

Jacquelyn brings more than 17 years of professional business management and administrative experience to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia, Jacquelyn served as Property Manager for Fairlead Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta, Georgia where she managed a downtown portfolio. 

Jacquelyn's educational background includes course work in business management and computer technology at Middle Georgia State University and Central Georgia Technical College.


Kristine Steinmann | VP of Operations & Program Services

Kristine Steinmann is a bilingual executive, fluent in English and Spanish with more than 13 years of non-profit experience and leadership. Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia, Kristine served as the Senior Business Process Analyst with the City of Atlanta Department of Parks & Recreation in Atlanta, Georgia. Kristine has held several leadership positions with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta including Site Director, Executive Director and Grants Administrator. In addition, Kristine previously worked as the Grants Specialist and After school tutor/teacher with the Gear Up South Dade Empowerment Zone at Florida International University in Miami, FL.

Kristine’s educational background includes some graduate work at Kennesaw State University and undergraduate work at Florida International University where she earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees and a Professional Certificate.

In her spare time, Kristine enjoys spending time with family, binge watching foreign shows and movies, and working out.


Lea Toney | Program Compliance & Outcomes Director

Lea Toney is a bilingual professional, fluent in English and Creole. Lea brings more than 11 years of professional administrative and non-profit experience. Prior to joining The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia, Lea served as the Project Coordinator for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she managed a database, evaluated, and placed students in respective residency and internship career field positions.

Lea’s educational background includes undergraduate work at South University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

In Lea’s spare time she enjoys shopping, spending time with family, and exercising.


Esther Suarez | Finance Director

Esther Suarez is an Independent Certified Public Accountant with 20 years of experience in not-for-profit accounting. 

Ms. Suarez has served the Middle Georgia community in the accounting and tax fields for 25 years.  She has provided accounting and financial services to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Georgia for 10 years.  

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Macon State College and a Masters Degree in Accounting from Georgia College and State University. In addition, Ms. Suarez is a member in good standing with the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
