JAMES FRENTHEWAY
Board Chair
Originally from southwestern Michigan, Jim graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree, major in Religion. He began his career as a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, then as Executive Director of Big Brothers/Big Sisters for two counties in Michigan.
He began working for General Motors Corp. in operations and then Organizational Development. After 14 years at GM, he left to work with automotive suppliers as a manager and director of Human resources. He was particularly active in “start-up” operations of new plants, starting up three with one company and two with other companies.
In 2011, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from Luther Rice Seminary.
In 2014, he was the first American hired by Kumho Tire of Georgia to assist with the start-up of their new plant in Macon GA, helping to build a 1 million sq.ft. tire manufacturing plant and hiring 400 employees.
He worked as V.P. Human Resources, for HPPE (High Performance Product Engineering) in Columbus GA.
He is now the Managing Partner of HRBeginnings, a Human Resources consulting operation.
Jim is happily married to Aida, and lives with her in Kathleen, GA where they are members of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins
